Elitheni Coal (Pty) Ltd, based in Guba Hoek Machubeni, Eastern Cape, is looking for suitable
candidate to fill the following positions:

Front End Loader Operator U5 (X2)
Minimum requirement:
Qualifications:

• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
• Front End Loader
  Additional Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in an underground mining
  environment.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
• 
  Load, Haul & Dump (LHD) U5 Operator (X2)
  Job Requirements:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12/N3 / Equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
• Competent B certificate for underground
• LHD operators training certificate / License
• Valid EB / Code 8 Drivers License
  Additional Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience in operating LHD
  equipment in an underground mining environment.
• The Candidate must be conversant in English, IsiXhosa or Afrikaans
• The Candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate.
• 
  Underground Tractor Driver U5 (X1)
  Job Requirements:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12/N3
• Underground Tractor Driver License & Certificate
• The Candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate.
• The Candidate must be conversant in English, IsiXhosa, isiZulu or
  Afrikaans
  Additional Requirements
• Shift work
  Experience:
• 3 years’ experience in transportation of goods in an underground
  coal mining operation.
• 
  Electric Drill–Rock Drill Machine Operator U5 (X4)
  Job Requirements:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 10 Numeracy and Literacy
• Grade 12 Certificate will be advantageous
• Passed Rock Drill Machine Operator Supporting training module
• Competent B Certificate.
• The Candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate.
• The Candidate must be conversant in English, IsiXhosa or Afrikaans
  Additional Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience as Rock Drill Machine
  Operator.
• Provide record of service
• 
  Roofbolter Operator U5 (X2)
  Job requirements:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 10 qualification or equivalent
• Have a valid Roofbolter License or Certificate
  Additional Requirements:
• At least minimum of 6 months experience as a operator (Roofbolter
  will be an advantage.
• Must be in possession of valid driver’s license.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
• 
  Coal Cutter Operator U5 (X2)
  Job Requirements:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 10/ ABET level 4 with (maths/ numeracy and English)
• Coal Cutter Licence/Certificate
  Additional Requirements:
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate.
• Minimum underground experience of 2 years on Coal Cutter.
• The candidate must be conversant in English/IsiXhosa Language.
• Multiskilled candidate i.e., Scoop Operator& Roof bolter will be
  advantageous.
• 
  Weighbridge Operator S5 (X2)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Weighbridge certificates
• Relevant Experience
  Additional Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year’s practical experience.
• License/Certification: Weighbridge certificate (Required)
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
• 
  Shuttle Car Operator U5 (X2)
  Job Requirements:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 10/ ABET level 4 with (maths/ numeracy and English)
• Shuttle Car Licence/Certificate
  Additional Requirements:
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate.
• Minimum underground experience of 2 years on Shuttle Car.
• Multiskilled candidate i.e., Scoop Operator& Roof bolter will be
  advantageous.
