Elitheni Coal (Pty) Ltd, based in Guba Hoek Machubeni, Eastern Cape, is looking for suitable
candidates to fill the following positions:

Battery Bay Attendant U5 (X3)
Minimum requirement:
Qualifications:

Grade 12/N3 qualification or equivalent
Additional Requirements:

At least 6 years’ relevant experience in an underground
mining environment.

The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
Certificate

• Cable Shop Attendant S5 (X2)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
  Additional Requirements:
• Previous experience in the Electricity Field will be preferable.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
  
• Belt Crew U5 (X6)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 10 qualification or equivalent
  Additional Requirements:
• At least minimum 1-year relevant experience as Belt Attendant
• Good communication skills in English.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
  
• Mining (General) U5 (X4)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
• Competent A&B certificate
• Blasting certificate (DMRE / MQA level 3)
  Additional Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in an underground
  mining environment.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
  
• Mining Blasting Assistant U5 (X2)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12/N3 or ABET level 4 qualification
• Competent B Certificate
  Additional Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in an underground
  mining environment.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
  
• Engineering Assistant U5 (X 2)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
• A valid Red Ticket
  Additional Requirements:
• Previous experience in the Engineering Field will be
  preferable.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
• Must be able to work without supervision
  
• Mining Loader Operator U5 (X2)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
• Mining Loader Operator Certificate
  Additional Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in an underground mining
  environment.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
  
• Mining Scoop Operator U5 (X2)
  Minimum requirement:
  Qualifications:
• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
• Scoop Operator Certificate
  Additional Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in an underground mining
  environment.
• The candidate must be able to obtain mines Medical Fitness
  Certificate
