A motor vehicle dealership based in Johannesburg North, Gauteng is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team in the dinance department.
Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent is essential
- Accounting diploma or equivalent would be an added advantage
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping role is required
- Deadline driven and team orientated individual
- Attention to detail – timely and accurate information/reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal required
- Excellent organizational and planning skills required
- Advanced MS Excel skills required
- Prior Motor Industry Experience
- Drive experience is essential
Duties will include:
- Bank reconciliation
- Journal processing
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Loan and floorplan finance reconciliations
- Month-end accruals and provisions
- VAT reconciliation
- Database
