Job description
Rocket Creative Design & Display is powered by its successful client service team, and we’re looking to grow our team by adding new ambitious team members who enjoy the advertising and display industry, driving sales and hitting targets in our fast-paced environment.
If you are a sales machine and have an incredible eye for detail, great time management skills, and strong problem-solving skills, you could be the perfect fit. You’ll need to be on top of client expectations, juggle tasks and projects, and present and close sales with sharp negotiation skills.
Being versatile and able to communicate the value of our offerings clearly is key. Since presentations are a regular part of the job, it’s imperative to be personable, polished, and professional.
Critical Roles & Objectives:
- Quickly learn and align with the business and products we offer to maximise growth opportunities.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the company and industry to develop comprehensive knowledge of how our products solve customers’ needs.
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Handle incoming inquiry demand, as well as existing and potential customer prospects.
- Manage the sales process completely per job, handling multiple jobs consecutively, from quoting through production, delivery & billing. A full-service job management from inquiry to completion, managing multiple clients and projects concurrently in various process stages.
- Formulate and propose a growth action plan and generate new leads by identifying new business prospects.
- Handle all client engagement and have the confidence, skills, and insight to take client briefs, conduct demos, etc
- Work within the sales team, ensuring all process efficiencies are followed, sales target performance deliverables are achieved, and company standards are upheld.
- Provide monthly sales reporting and analysis of figures.
- Take initiative by anticipating and ensuring clients’ needs are met and regularly engaging and exceeding client expectations.
- Recognising opportunities, brainstorming with the team, researching, having client meetings, and product development and presentation.
- Research, compile, and analyse data to stay current and relevant with industry and marketing trends and competitors and to identify trends and growth opportunities.
Essential skills and capabilities:
- Must be sales and target-driven, with acute attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be highly IT proficient with MS Office, Teams, and Xero competencies
- Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years prior sales experience at a similar level, with proven sales record, preferably in a simal field
- Be a vibrant and enthusiastic team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license.
- Ability to travel if and when required.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, business management and/or marketing.
- Any design program experience (Corel, InDesign, SketchUp etc) being very beneficial
